Inheritance

"I am not a selfmade man.
For, generations have lived
In the planes I live.
Their foot prints I trample
In the roads they made.
Their fire I preserve in my hearth.
yet these I do not own.
Only have use and leave.
Death hall never thrive
For life is passed to posterity
An unbrocken chain of inheritance.
To them I leave my rights.
The vallies and planes to till.
My joys and pains to their history."

An Epitaph to me

Humble dreams of a wandering wind
Lay sumothered and silenced
By the hands of destiny
Here benethe this heape of sand.
Write this on my tomb stone
And leave me to the bliss
Of eternal Oblivion.

The Pain

Only I know the pain
When a Rainbow leaves my sky.
Rain and thunder swallow my gaze.
Fate and time fill the sky with gray.
And I know I must forget,
O rainbow,
Your ravishing beauty
Not merely corporal.

Unrest in Pak, its implications for India

The untimely demise of Benazir Butto has thrown shades over the pak political Drama.
Let us not be engrossed in the debate who did it.Because only speculations are possible about it in the given circumstances as the forces behind the deed have been successful enough in confusing the globe about the reality.
My Question is: Is the potential political and economic unrest in Pakistan desirable for India?
This is a question, I believe, that must be debated.
Dear friends I would strongly  advocate that there must be political and economic stability in Pakistan. As a nation it should be our intrest. Some you may be wondering as to if I am on the other side of the border psychologically. To them I should say that I am verymuch here. Keep apart the humanitarian cinsiderations. Let the history have its own course. I would still say that there must be stability in our so called(potential) enemy nation. I say this because they have something very dangerous to offer to the world. We should remember that Pak today is a nuclear nation. Imagine what will happen if those leathel weapons reach forces that look forward to destroy India some other part of the civilization. If it should not happen we need economic and political stability in Pakistan.

The Dream

In amoon lit night
I was dreaming
Under the shades
Of a golden tree
Heavens came down
Stars sang for me
A song of love,
Charm and beauty.
When I was awaken
I knew not only the dream
But ........
The entire night had vanished.                     Thomas Jacob

Red Rose

Charmed by her smile
That held my heart detained
I floated in the horizons of dream
Never once before.
Never once Again.
But for a transient moment
The red Rose
Her shades and shadows.

Shame

Words left untold
In the vague scheme
Of light and Night
Mock me hard
As if they caught me red
In a failed attempt
To kill the self.
Smotherd words in revolt
Strip me in the mob.

 I lack is not words
But courage.
Lest the glass should drop
And pieces scatter
I bear this shame.Thomas Jacob

wet?

Dear Friends....
I was walking down the slopes of a hill for my cricular activities. There was a stream going past the way. As I did not want to make my leg wet I tried jumping accrose it. But unfortunatly I landed in the extreame end of the stream. Water splashed and my dress was wet from my knees. I looked at my friends. They were all laughing. I too laughed. As we proceeded the dress got dried up as the sun was shining bright. As water was splashed on my dress it was wet.So the adjective wet is used to describe an object with the presence of water.

The question in my mind was : IS WATER WET OR IT JUST MAKES OTHER OBJECTS WET?
